"Kylemore Castle" is located amid Ireland's natural beauty of lakes, mountains, and bogs. Mitchell and Margaret Henry spent their honeymoon there in the 1850s and years later Mitchell bought the land and built this castle as a romantic gift for his wife. More recently, Fred and Betty Hann, a former mayor of Lancaster, CA, and a member of our church, visited it and asked me to paint it for them. Since then, Fred has gone to be with the Lord and in his memory I have hidden their initials in the painting.
