As I stare at this old seeder, my mind wanders back to the day it was a new implement. As winter receded and spring emerged, the seasoned farmer looked to this machine as an important part of his preparation for planting the crops. The performance of its seasonal task had a lot to do with the quality of the next harvest. Today it is only a memory of its productive past.
